Circuit Design, Inc. was founded in 1974 by electronics engineer Kazuo
Maruyama(Chairman) and Yukinaga Koike (President). Kazuo Maruyama, who
previously worked in the development of hybrid circuits and in the
electronics-engineering department of a private company, had a strong
interest in wireless audio transmission and this was the reason why he
founded his own business – he has been a radio enthusiast for most of
his life.
The first commercial product developed by Circuit Design was a
self-designed wireless audio transmission system. However those were a
far cry from our present products.
“The company gradually evolved, and when the law for low-power radio was
revised in Japan in 1989, there was suddenly a very wide field of
applications opening up for us, as license-exempt low-power devices were
legally authorized. From this point onwards, Circuit Design began to
develop and market a host of different products " says Mr. Maruyama.
"The year 1989 was exactly the right time for our significant
leap forward."
Today Circuit Design has 12 distributors around the globe and the
company’s European head-quarters, Circuit Design GmbH, is located in
Munich, Germany.
It is our consistent belief in the philosophy that we will never follow,
and instead we will look for our own way that has led to our success.
Moreover, we want to enhance customer reliability and competitiveness in
their radio link applications by providing high-quality narrow-band
low-power radio products.

really looked forward to getting our hands on them ……[Read more]
