Mute Circuit
Circuit Design's receiver module was designed to achieve a balance between size, performance, and cost. Therefore, a mute circuit to remove noise output when no signal is transmitted is not installed in the receiver. A mute circuit can easily be designed using RSSI signals.

Mute Circuit

Please note that the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) output comes directly from the IF IC. Because of the dispersion of the IC, there must be dispersion in the RSSI output level. In addition, the RSSI level is related to RF field strength. The voltage of RSSI output depends on the input RF signal strength to the RX antenna. Please refer to the product operation guide for information on the characteristics of RSSI.
