FAQ

How does temperature affect the WA-TX-03S and WA-RX-03S operation?

As the audio modules are analogue FM where the receiver bandwidth is fairly large, audio communication can still continue but the resulting distortion will become more perceptible to the ear. The audio receiver module uses a temperature compensated crystal oscillator which takes into account temperature drift. However, the audio transmitter module contains a normal crystal oscillator and requires a CPU to sense the temperature and adjust the operation.

Such CPU contains a LUT and guarantees stable operation within the specified temperature range. Slightly exceeding these limits will not produce any noticeable difference. However at extreme low temperatures, RF power will increase which will not be in accordance with regulations.
