FAQ

What does Forward Error Correction mean in the MU-4 module?

Forward Error Correction or Reed Solomon Coding is an error correction algorithm. By adding redundant bits to the data signal, errors introduced during transmission can be corrected to some degree. It is useful if interference or signal loss becomes too high.
