What is the Air monitor feature?
The Air Monitor function is built into the MU2-ESP evaluation program and does two things:
- Livetime view of received signal strength across all channels (RSSI vs channel)
- Livetime view of received signal strength against time (RSSI vs time)
It means realtime tests can be performed in your chosen environment to see how buildings or obstructions affect radio propagation. As well as displaying RSSI from the MU-4, it can also display signals of any other radio sources across the band. The air monitor function can be accessed in the evaluation software when using MU4-USBIF/MU4-RS2IF.
