"Confirming radio conditions in advance" article has been uploaded to the RF Design Guide page

Engineers looking to install wireless equipment tend to consider distance and transmitter power as the deciding factors of whether communication will be successful without really being aware of how much effect the environment has on radio wave travel. Factors such as multipath, obstructions, interference from other radio equipment etc. drastically change how the radio travels so that the end result is often not what is expected.

To help engineers determine the optimum location for installing wireless equipment so that communication reliability is maximised, the below article introduces 2 methods: simulation and field tests. Simulation can be performed based on antenna height, gain, frequency band etc.  For field tests, the engineer can use actual radio and the tools in the Circuit Design evaluation software, without the need to purchase expensive measuring equipment.
