"Propagation" article has been uploaded to the RF Design Guide page.

Radio technology plays a large part in people's lives from television and radio to the internet yet most people are not aware of the physics behind radio wave propagation. This can lead to questions why reception performance is sometimes less or more than expected.

Engineers building radio systems need to understand that as well as transmission power, there are other factors such as environment and antenna placement that can affect propagation.

Therefore, a new article, "Propagation" has been posted on the RF design guide. The article aims to cover propagation topics (with guidance on how to use Circuit Design's various calculation tools) so engineers can determine the best antenna placement for communication at the desired range.
