"What is 12 dB SINAD?" article has been uploaded to the RF Design Guide page

Engineers who have read the datasheets on Circuit Design modules would have noticed the term "12 dB SINAD" to describe the module sensitivity. But how can such a measurement normally used for ordinary radio receivers be applied when receiving Hi/Low "digital" signals using a radio module?

There are pages on the internet that explains the 12 dB SINAD but only in the context of ordinary radio receivers such as those for receiving FM broadcasts. It is important to realise that the performance of any radio receiver is still dependent on the radio components used - irrespective of whether it is receiving analogue voice or Hi/Low "digital" signals.

The following article explains the origin of the 12 dB SINAD and how it applies to Circuit Design modules.
